In Renton near Seattle in the United States, 225 Olivier piles with a depth of up to 17m (55ft) were installed inside a building with a limited height of 6m (20ft).
Originally, this project was offered with Micro piles. Olivier reviewed this with Morris Shea and converted it to Olivier piles. With the new patented Olivier CD coupling in combination with the Fundex CD20 drilling machine, it is perfectly possible to connect and disconnect several short pipe sections while drilling.
With 2 Fundex CD20 machines, up to 12 Olivier piles d36/56 of 17m were made per day. This resulted in serious savings in concrete and time!
Olivier provided the necessary on-site training and support.
